Here we go again ... another Blogpost highlighting all that has been done since we last updated our readers. We met up yesterday, March 12th, at the Barn and had quite a good turnout. Even managed to enlist the skills of a new stitcher, Robyn ... always a delight to have someone hear about us and come stitch :) Gracing us also with their presence were Jenny, Sandi, Christine, Julie, Alison. Yvonne, Jan, Val. Gaynor, Joy, Emily, Isobel .. and yours truly :) Not too shabby a turnout at all for a long weekend ....
Firstly I will share news of our latest quilt 'outreach'. We have boxed up and ready to despatch 200 (!!) quilts. Destined for Israel ... how awesome!! These quilts will be heading to Pardes Hanna, in the Galilee area north of Jerusalem in central Israel, and will bless children aged from 5 to 18. A generous benefactor is presently organising with us the freight for this despatch, and for that we thank them profusely.
